Run Across America - 17th July - Day 34

It wasn’t a good day as I struggled with my bad left knee and it’s not really the best time to get such an injury when running through the highest terrain in America (Colorado). It started well, but then my left knee was giving me a bit of pain and to top it of my iPod stopped working (flat batteries) and it became uncomfortable running throughout the day.

I still completed the day but it’s one of those I want to forget and move on to the next day. We travelled into a big town called Craig, Colorado and we are staying at another KOA campsite. Tonight was fun and even though I had a bad knee it helped that the team got together and had a play around. We all dressed up in one of Natasha’s bras and hot pants and the best looking (female) has to be Alex with his all pink outfit. Ben looked too big (if you know want I mean for a lady) and I didn’t look too bad either.

Tonight is only a small blog as I very tired and need to get to bed. I promise tomorrow’s will be a bigger and better read.

Artist of the day – Guns & Roses (I am getting into this type of music and helped me get through the tough day).

PS - If anybody is interested please join the ‘Keep Jackson Running Across America’ Facebook group set up by Simon Bowsher of my official sponsor Mizuno.
