The day started off early with everyone getting up at about 7:30.Today was a special day as it was the day that we pick up our new home, the motor home. We all packed up our things, said goodbye to our luxurious hotel room and went down to the hotel lobby to get our ride to the rental yard.

As soon as we arrived we saw a massive RV with Williams written in the window. The mere sight of it got everyone excited. After a bit of a scare regarding the contract and whose name it should be under, we were handed the keys, given a quick tour and we set off for an RV campground in Bolsa Chica just north of Huntington Beach. The campsite was really nice, located right on the beach. We parked up and started to sort out the bus for the big trip, deciding where everyone was going to sleep and fighting over the limited cupboard space. After everyone finally made an agreement we chilled out for a bit, had a look at the beach and figured out the inner workings of the bus.

We decided we needed to go shopping to get the fridge stocked and get all the supplies we needed for the trip. We embarked on a mission to find a Wal Mart. It ended up taking about 4 hours to find one by which time we were all absolutely starving so we got some take out before hitting the store. Once we had spent a small fortune at the shop we headed back to the campground for our first night in our new home.
